Cream Cheese Pound Cake Or Chocolate Pound Cake

3 Sticks butter, softened
8 oz Cream cheese, softened
3 c Sugar
2 ts Vanilla
6 Eggs
3 c Cake or all purpose flour
1 Dash salt

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Cream butter and cream cheese. Gradually add sugar, salt and vanilla, beatting well. Alternately add eggs and flour until mixed together thoroughly. Pour batter into a well greased tube pan and bake for 1 1/2 hours.
