Chocolate Pound cake

2 3/4 c Flour
3/4 ts Cream of tartar
1/2 ts Baking soda
1 1/2 ts Salt
1 3/4 c Sugar
1 c Margarine
2/3 c Milk
1 ts Vanilla extract
3 Eggs
1 Egg yolk
3 Squares baking chocolate
Powdered sugar

Start heating oven to 350 degrees F. Line bottom of a 3 1/2 " deep 9" tube pan. Into large mixer bowl, sift together flour, cream of tartar, soda, salt and sugar. Drop in margarine; pour in milk and vanilla. Mix at low to medium speed, for 2 minutes, scraping bowl often. Add eggs, chocolate, egg yolk and beat 1 minute longer. Turn into pan. Bake 1 hour and 10 minutes, or until done. Cool in pan on wire rack for 15 minutes. Remove from pan peel off paper; cool on rack. Before serving sprinkle powdered sugar into ridges of cake.
