Apple Coffee Cake

3/4 c Butter
1 Egg
1 tb Milk
2 c Flour
1 ts Baking powder
4 Apples, peeled, sliced thin
1 3oz pkg gelatin, apple or raspberry, or cherry, or cranberry
1 c Sugar

Cream 1/4 c of butter, egg and milk. Add 1 c flour and baking powder. Pat dough into 9" square pan. Stand apart apple slices into dough closely together. Sprinkle gelatin over apples. Cover pan with foil. Combine remaining ingredients and pour into freezer bag. Tape bag to foil and freeze up to 1 month.

To Serve remove from freezer and sprinkle contents of bag over cake. Bake 350 for 45 minutes or until apples are tender. Serve warm with ice cream or cool and drizzle with powdered sugar glaze.
