Pumpkin Cake

4 eggs, room temperature 30 minutes
2 c. sugar
1 (1 lb.) can pumpkin
1 c. oil
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cloves
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. ginger
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Beat together eggs and sugar at high speed until light and fluffy. Add pumpkin and oil. Blend well. Add flour, salt, cloves, cinnamon, ginger and nutmeg. Pour into ungreased 9 inch tube pan. Bake at 350 degrees for at least 60 minutes. Cool completely in pan. Remove and frost.
