Pumpkin Cake

1 cake mix
1 dome shaped cooking pan (2 quart)
1 can vanilla icing
Red food coloring
Yellow food coloring
1/2 c. Karo syrup
Various candies to decorate
1 green flat ice cream cone
Silk leaves (optional)

Prepare cake mix as directed on package. Pour into greased dome pan. Cook for 75 minutes at 350 degrees. Take out of pan and put on cooling rack. When cooled, take vanilla icing and mix 2 parts red food color and 3 parts yellow food color to make orange icing. Ice cake. Decorate with candies and silk leaves. To make "Blood" come out of cake mix 1/2 cup Karo syrup and red food coloring. Place in plastic bag with twist tie and place under cake. When cake is cut, blood will ooze... Place inverted cone on top of cake to form stem.
