Old Roman Apple Cake

3 c. flour
2 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. orange juice
1 c. Wesson oil
2 tsp. vanilla
3 lg. apples, sliced thin
4 eggs

Mix all ingredients, except apples until well blended. Pour 1/2 of batter into a greased and floured tube pan. Sprinkle 1/2 the apples on top. Sprinkle cinnamon sugar over apples. Cover with remaining 1/2 of batter. Top with other 1/2 of apples and sprinkle cinnamon sugar on apples. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours. Cool. Sprinkle with confectioners' sugar.
