Peach Coffeecake

1/2 lb. butter
3 eggs
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 c. flour
1/4 c. ground almonds
1 tsp. grated lemon rind

Cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs, flour, lemon rind and almonds. Spread in a greased and floured 9 x 13 pan. Place slices fresh peaches in rows on top. Bake at 350 degrees for about 40 to 45 minutes. Sprinkle with powdered sugar when cool.
