Moonlight Mellow Chocolate Cake 1 pk German chocolate cake mix
1 ts Cinnamon
1/2 ts Nutmeg
1 c Mashed potatoes -- cold
1/2 c Butter or margarine -- softened
1/2 c Water
3 Eggs
1/2 c Nuts -- chopped
Glaze:
1/2 c Semisweet chocolate chips
1 tb Butter or margarine
2 tb Milk
1/2 c Powdered sugar
Heat oven to 350. Grease and flour a bundt pan. In a large bowl,
combine cake mix, cinnamon, nutmeg, potatoes, 1/2 cup butter, water
and eggs at low speed until moistened; beat 2 minutes at high speed.
Stir in nuts. Pour into greased and floured pan. Bake at 350 degrees For 40
to 50 minutes. Cool upright in pan 25 minutes; invert onto serving
plate. Cool completely. In small saucepan, combine chocolate chips,
butter and milk. Cook over low heat until chocolate melts, stirring
constantly. Remove from heat; stir in powdered sugar until smooth.
