Indian Corn Cob Cakes

1 pkg. yellow cake mix
1 (16 oz.) ready to spread vanilla (chocolate or made a pkg. of fluffy white frosting)
1 1/2 pkgs. Holiday M & M's (Thanksgiving colors)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Generously grease and flour cornstick pans. Prepare cake mix according to package directions. Spoon 3 tablespoons of batter into each cornstick mold. Bake about 15 minutes. Cool in pans 5 minutes. Cool completely on wire racks. Frost rounded sides of each cornstick with favorite frosting. To decorate for Indian corn, overlap rows of yellow, brown, orange, and red M & M's lengthwise on frosted cakes. To decorate for corn on the cob. Make 3 rows of yellow and place 2 green at one end. Makes 24 cakes.
