Fudge Cheesecake Bars

2 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. butter or margarine, cut up & softened
2/3 c. packed brown sugar
1 box chocolate fudge frosting mix (for 2 layer cake)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, cut up & softened
2 eggs
3/4 c. slivered almonds

Combine flour, butter and sugar; beat to resemble crumbs. Pat into 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 10 to 12 minutes. Combine frosting mix and cheese. Add eggs; beat smooth. Spread over crust. Sprinkle on the nuts. Bake in 350 degree oven for 30 minutes. Cool, cut. Store in refrigerator. Makes 32.
