Confectioners Sugar Pound Cake

1 1/2 c. butter or margarine
1 lb. confectioners sugar, sifted
6 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 3/4 c. cake flour, sifted

Beat butter until creamy in large bowl. Gradually beat in sugar until light and fluffy. Beat eggs in one at a time. Add vanilla; gradually stir in flour. Do not overmix. Turn into buttered and floured tube pan. Bake in preheated oven at 300 degrees for 1 1/2 hours. Turn onto rack; cool completely. Sprinkle with confectioners sugar.
