Cinnamon Apple Nut Cake

1 c. raisins
1/2 c. walnuts, chopped
2 c. apples, chopped
1 1/4 c. flour, sifted
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 c. orange juice
1/2 c. margarine, melted
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine raisins, nuts and apples in large bowl. Sift flour with sugar, cinnamon and salt. Add to fruit. Blend well. Beat egg slightly. Add soda to orange juice and stir into egg, together with butter and vanilla. Combine with fruit and flour mixture and pour into greased 8 x 12 inch baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes or until it tests done. Cut into squares and serve warm with whipped cream if you wish. Serves 6.
