Cherry Drop Cakes

1/2 c. marg.
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. almond extract
2 1/4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 sm. can crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 c. chopped maraschino cherries
1 c. chopped pecans

Blend the margarine and cream cheese together. Gradually add sugar; cream well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Add flavorings. Add combined dry ingredients gradually; mix thoroughly. Stir in pineapple, chopped cherries and nuts. Drop by large rounded tablespoonful onto unoiled cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for 12 minutes. Yields: 2 dozen.
