Disappearing Cake 1/4 c Butter or margarine - softened
1/4 c Shortening
2 c Sugar
1 ts Vanilla extract
2 Eggs
1 3/4 c All-purpose flour
3/4 c Hershey's Cocoa
3/4 ts Baking powder
3/4 ts Baking soda
1/8 ts Salt
1 3/4 c Milk
Heat oven to 350 degrees F. Grease and flour 13x9x2-inch baking pan. In large
bowl, beat butter, shortening, sugar and vanilla until light and
fluffy. Add eggs; beat well. Stir together flour, cocoa, baking
powder, baking soda and salt; add alternately with milk to butter
mixture, blending well. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake 35 to 40
minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool
