Chocolate Pound Cake

1 1/2 c Unsalted butter, softened
3 c Sugar
2 ts Vanilla
5 lg Eggs
1 c Unsweetened cocoa powder
2 c All-purpose flour
1/2 ts Baking powder
1/2 ts Salt
1 c Buttermilk
1/4 c Water

In large mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Beat at high speed for 5 minutes, then add vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each. In separate bowl, mix together cocoa, flour, baking powder and salt. Add dry ingredients alternately with buttermilk and water, ending with dry ingredients. Mix until well blended. Pour into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan and bake at 325 F for 60-75 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Let cake rest in pan for 20 minutes, then turn onto cake rack. Cool completely before serving.
